AI CityHunt is an interdisciplinary project that brings together heritage research, spatial computing, artificial intelligence, and physical interaction design. Visitors carry a phone and wear smart glasses as location-based triggers unfold stories and interactions, NFC tokens unlock hidden layers, an AI companion engages in real-time dialogue grounded in scholarly research, and collaborations with neighborhood businesses weave the living community into the experience. Heritage research is embedded directly into place: a discovered token, a location reached, an interactive question, or a conversation with the AI companion invites rigorous and playful engagement. Every element is inseparable from its setting. Developed in collaboration with DioNexus and the School of Design at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
